About Orth2Go
We’re on a mission to make fracture recovery more comfortable, more dignified,
and more human — starting right here in the Philippines.
- Our story
Who We Are
Orth2Go is powered by 3D2Go — the Philippines’ first end-to-end 3D services company, operating since 2014. What started as a 3D scanning, modeling, and printing company has grown into something much bigger: a mission to completely reimagine how fractures are treated.
Through years of research and development, working closely with senior orthopedic doctors and surgeons from hospitals across the country, we’ve developed a line of custom 3D-printed fracture casts that are changing the way patients heal.
Our goal: a clinically and scientifically validated, commercially available 3D-printed fracture cast — so every Filipino patient can access a better, more comfortable recovery.
- Our Impact
A better recovery
experience
We’ve seen firsthand what a poorly fitting cast can do — the skin sores, the swelling, the weeks of unnecessary discomfort. And we’ve seen the difference a well-designed, custom-fitted cast makes in a patient’s recovery and daily quality of life.
That’s what drives us. Every cast we make is a step toward a future where recovering from a fracture doesn’t have to be miserable — where patients can shower, breathe, move comfortably, and live their lives while their bones heal.
- Meet The Team
The People Making It Possible

Engr. Fred Chua
Founder & President, 3D2Go Philippines
Fred is a serial technopreneur and ECE graduate from UP Diliman who founded My3D Concepts Corp. (3D2Go) in 2014. He is also the founder and CEO of Magellan Solutions, a 1,300-seat Contact Center I&BPO, and of Silikon Technologies Inc., an IoT Engineering Services company established in 2019.
During COVID-19, Fred led Silikon Technologies and 3D2Go to become the first company to commercially manufacture a locally-made PAPR called “Aircube” — used in hospitals across the Philippines and sold to thousands of frontline healthcare workers.
Today, that same drive fuels Orth2Go: bringing world-class fracture care technology to every Filipino patient.

Dr. Rene Catan
Orthopedic Surgeon & Medical Adviser
Dr. Rene Catan is a renowned Filipino orthopedic surgeon recognized for his work in developing affordable and locally made orthopedic solutions. His expertise bridges orthopedic surgery, biomechanics, and medical innovation — making him a key figure in advancing scientifically validated orthopedic technologies here in the Philippines.
- Who We Are
Built by specialists, tested for confidence
Behind every Orth2Go cast is a team of seasoned experts in 3D design, materials science, and medical engineering. They assess the effectiveness of every innovation, verify proper fit and comfort, and rigorously test the durability and safety of every material used.
Together, they make sure that when your cast arrives, you can wear it with complete confidence.

Signed Von Mises Stress Analysis
Visualizes stress distribution and confirms safe stress levels under normal use.

We don’t just design casts that look good. Every Orth2Go cast goes through rigorous Finite Element Analysis (FEA) — the same engineering method used in aerospace and automotive design — to confirm it can handle real daily use.
Here’s what the analysis confirmed:
Von Mises Stress: 0–97.83 psi — well below PLA’s yield strength, meaning safe stress levels under normal use.
Factor of Safety: 3.5x — the cast can withstand 3.5 times the applied load before failure.
Displacement: 0–0.06 mm at 300N — minimal deformation, even under significant force.
The science backs it up: Orth2Go casts are strong, stable, and safe.
